Judy M. Smart is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Transportation. Founded in 1969 by Smart’s late husband, James, Roadrunner Towing and Recovery began with just the use of one truck. Since James’ death in 2001, Smart took over the business and it has grown substantially under her leadership. Today, Roadrunner has grown to expand into a successful fleet of 15 trucks and now includes a newly opened second location. “Given the opportunity, we will do whatever it takes to earn your business,” the company’s website states.

Amassing over 35 years of experience, Smart is the President of Roadrunner Towing and Recovery. Smart’s specializes in the areas of business administration and development, finance and oversight of day-to-day operations in her role. To further her professional development, Smart is a member of the Louisiana Motor Transport Association and the National Association of Professional Women, which recognized her as a member of the VIP Woman of the Year Circle. Additionally, in 2000, Smart was the first female recipient of the Davidge award and she continues to give back to her community.

Smart volunteers her time as a Board Member with Special Olympic and works with Dreams Come True, Stuff the Bus and Child Advocacy Center Celebrity Waiters. She is also the Founder of Baton Rouge Area Victims Empowered. When not working, Smart enjoys visiting Florida with friends.
