Dr. Alexis E. Te, M.D. is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional of the Year 2018 in the field of Medicine in recognition of his role as Professor of Urology at Weill Medical College at Cornell University, Director of the Urology Program at the Iris Cantor Men’s Health Center, the Director of the Brady Prostate Center, as well as Director of Urodynamics & Neurourology, and Attending Urologist in the Department of Urology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

Committed to providing his patients with the quality care that they deserve, Dr. Te is a leader in the development of new techniques for treatment of benign prostatic disorders in men, as well as in the evaluation and treatment of incontinence in men and women. In his current capacity at the Brady Prostate Center and the Iris Cantor Men’s Health, Dr. Te continues his research in areas such as Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), Therapies in BPH, Incontinence, Prostatitis, Neurourology & Urodynamics, Female Urology, Interstitial Cystitis, Laser Surgery, and Prostate Cancer. Lending a compassionate approach to those they serve, the Brady Prostate Center is dedicated to utilizing all of the state of the art technologies to further enhance the wellbeing of their patients. The center provides a full range of minimally invasive treatments ranging from Lasers to Microwave Thermotherapy as well as all available standard treatments. As a leading expert, he has research, refined and published on technologies including the greenlight laser prostatectomy, electrovaporization of the prostate, robotic aquablation of the prostate as well as many other.

With over 20 years of experience in the field of medicine, Dr. Te is revered for his remarkable contributions to the profession. Having served in his current capacity as Professor of Urology for the past 18 years, Dr. Te has attained expertise in a wide range of urological areas and leads in research and academic and clinical education.

While pursuing his educational endeavors, Dr. Te attended Cornell University Medical College in New York and earned his Medical Doctorate in 1988. Previously, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry from Yale University in 1984.

To further enhance his professional development, Dr. Te is a distinguished fellow of several elite organizations including, The New York Academy of Medicine, American Urological Association American Urologic Association/New York Section American Medical Association, Philippine Chinese American Medical Association, Medical Society of the State of New York, Chinese American Medical Association, Endourologic Society, Society of Urodynamics and Female Urology and the American Academy of Science. He has also contributed to over 300 medical and research publications.
